This Collings AT-17 dates back to 2001, and is a gorgeous example of the craftsmanship and attention to detail that made Bill Collings' guitars special. Crafted, signed and dated by Bill Collings himself, this archtop predates the serialization of these models. Here with a solid, carved Red Spruce top, paired with solid carved Western Maple back and sides, this X-braced 17" archtop is truly a rare guitar, and one of the finest instruments we've had here in the store.

The underside of the top of this AT-17 is signed and dated Sept 2001, and is visible with a mirror through the treble-side f-hole. Includes original Calton hardshell case.
